The Brotherhood
Al Sapienza plays the character of Mayor Frank Panzerelli in the Showtime award winning series, "Brotherhood". The show filmed in Providence, Rhode Island is loosely based on two Irish American brothers from South Boston. The Bulger brothers, were as opposite in career choices as one can get. James "Whitey" Bulger was a well known gangster who spent a decade on the Federal Bureau of Investigations Most Wanted List, brother William Bulger, was a influential state senator who was president of the Massachusett State Senate for 18 years and later on became the president of the Massachusetts University educational system.
